Integrative Medicine

It all starts by looking at the whole pet – rather than just the specific symptoms. This helps to not only treat, but to truly prevent disease. Our integrative approach also means that we can customize and individualize treatment plans based on the best interests of the pet while respecting your personal and spiritual concerns.

At Four Paws, we are open to integrating Western and Eastern therapies so that they complement each other. This integrative approach opens up an array of possibilities, so we can then customize therapies combining traditional Western-type protocols like:

  • Vaccinations
  • Diagnostics
  • Surgery
  • Pharmaceuticals

with more Eastern-type therapies such as:

  • Acupuncture
  • Herbology
  • Nutrition

Offering these services in your home only enhances the many already stated benefits as we evaluate your pets in their usual environment with much less stress compared to that of a veterinary clinic where excitement or fear can mask or exacerbate symptoms.

Please call us today.  We’d be delighted to hear from you.

Mobile Services

Finding a veterinarian who listens to you
and is willing to individualize pet care with
your values and philosophies in mind while
maintaining high quality medicine can be

And sometimes more challenging can be getting your pet to
the veterinarian. Perhaps your cat is terrified of the
veterinarian and disappears at the very sight of a carrier. Or
maybe you have an elderly dog or a very large dog that can no longer
safely or comfortably get into a car. Perhaps you are housebound and finding someone to help you get to the veterinarian is difficult. And still, even for the healthy pets, sometimes our busy lives make scheduling time to take off work and juggling schedules very difficult.

At Four Paws, we understand all these challenges and our mobile veterinary services go above and beyond to meet your needs. Your pet will benefit by feeling safer in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.

Your pet is one-of-a-kind and an important member of your family. Therefore, your pet will be evaluated with the utmost in mindfulness, compassion and professionalism. And when it comes time to discuss the treatment options, we will hold these same values at the top of our minds. Many pets have benefited from a more “creative” approach to veterinary medicine. So, please feel free to talk to us about your concerns, core values and views. You will be heard. You will be respected.

It is an honor to be welcomed into your home to care for your pets. A house-call visit has so many benefits for all of us – you, your pets and for us, too. There are minimal distractions during a house call appointment – no emergencies, no walk-ins, no busy telephones ringing - all distractions found in a traditional hospital setting.

It is only about you and your companion!

Please give us a call today.  We’d be delighted to hear from you.
