Flower Essences are remedies made from the essence (dew) of flowers. Dr. Edward Bach was a well-known physician in London during the 1930’s. After becoming frustrated with Western medicine, he developed remedies directly extracted from medicinal, non-toxic flowers.
Flower essences are used in veterinary medicine for a variety of purposes, including providing support for behavioral issues such as anxiety or thunder/fireworks phobias, stress resulting in inappropriate urination or overgrooming, and grieving. Flower essences are usually administered orally or topically.
