Phoebe update to our farm community, our *family*.
Last night was Phoebe’s final stroll up and down the driveway. Even with pain meds, she had reached the point where walking on gravel was too much for her.
In fact a far better lasting image of her is this one from last night, walking along the driveway, *outstanding in her field* with an outrageously vivid and glorious sunset completely surrounding her.
Not pictured here were the moments when the fireflies came out and hundreds just swirled around her. What a magical sight, and what a send off!
She passed peacefully this morning on our farm. She was 15+ years old, and she was still trying valiantly to do her farm work.
Now she can jump and run like the wind again, doggie wrestle with friends, even climb trees to chase those sassy squirrels farther than they’ve ever had to flee before.
She truly was the #bestfarmdogever and will be loved and missed by us and ALL her many friends and fans, who looked forward to being greeted by the *Phoebe FanFare* as they drove up the driveway.
She’s left us with tears streaming down our face but heart-bursting gratitude that we shared her life since early 2012.
We love you, Phoebe, and will miss you forever. ❤🌈🐾🐾🌈❤
